Again, I'm new to all this and would like to get off on the right foot. Lexicon has released new Windows 7 software drivers for Alpha, Lambda, Omega and the IONIX U22, U42S, and U82S series of Desktop Recording Interfaces. I keep reading about ASIO issues and hoping that's not going to be an issue.īefore I get started, any tips or instructions would be appreciated. So is there anything I need to know ahead of time before setting up Logic Pro with the Lexicon Alpha? Do I even need to USE the installation disc, for instance? Are there drivers required? I was unable to find any at the Lexicon site. It comes with a disc that also includes Cubase LE but I'm not interested in dealing with Cubase as I am concentrating on Logic. I just picked up a used Lexicon Alpha interface. So the interface is simply to get rid of the headphones and hear things through some decent powered studio speakers. So you can make full use of the Lambda Studio right away, we’ve included the popular Steinberg Cubase LE production suite software for PC and Mac. I'm almost exclusively interested in MIDI recording and I've already successfully hooked up a MIDI keyboard controller via USB/MIDI. synthesizers, the Lambda Studio hardware provides the professional-quality inputs and outputs, metering, and level controls that computer sound cards or built-in audio connections lack. I have brand new Logic Pro on a Macbook Pro. I'm new to the interface and software world - being an acoustic/analog keyboard musician all my life - so please be gentle!
